Why We Built This
I'm Noah Yaghoubian. I've run an IT company in Palm Desert since 2010, and there are two conversations I have constantly.
The first is an owner asking why their emails keep going to spam. They've changed the wording, they've stopped using exclamation points, somebody told them to avoid the word "free." None of that was the problem.
The second is worse. A customer paid an invoice that looked exactly like it came from them, with different banking details, and the money is gone.
Both conversations trace back to the same three DNS records. And in fifteen years I've almost never found a business that had all three set up correctly without somebody deliberately doing it.

What the Scan Tells You

What This Is Actually About
Three DNS records — SPF, DKIM, and DMARC — tell the rest of the world which servers are allowed to send email using your company's name.
Set up properly, a criminal trying to send a fake invoice from your domain gets blocked before it reaches your customer's inbox. Set up wrong, or not at all, that message sails straight through looking completely legitimate. Nothing was hacked. No password was stolen. They just used your domain name, which is public information.
The same records decide whether your real email gets trusted. Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft have all tightened their requirements over the last two years, and properly authenticated senders now reach the inbox at a far higher rate than unauthenticated ones.

Who Should Run This
- Anybody whose emails go to spam — Especially if you've already tried changing how you write them.
- Anybody who sends invoices or quotes by email — Which is to say, nearly everybody. That's exactly what criminals impersonate.
- Anybody sending mass email — Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Go HighLevel, HubSpot, a CRM, or any marketing platform. These send on your behalf, which means they have to be specifically authorized in your records or the whole campaign is treated as suspicious. This is where we find the most problems.

- Contractors and distributors — Where a fake invoice to a customer or a supplier is the single most common fraud we see in this valley.
- Anyone filling out a cyber insurance application — Carriers ask about this. Better to know the real answer before you sign it.
- Anyone who inherited their setup — You bought the business, or whoever built it left. Nobody currently there knows what's published.
If You Send Marketing Email, Pay Attention to This One
This is the single most common problem we find, and it catches people who are otherwise doing everything right.
When you send a campaign through Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Go HighLevel, HubSpot, or your CRM, that platform is sending email on your behalf, using your company name in the From line. Your records have to specifically authorize them to do that. If they don't, mail providers see a stranger claiming to be you — which is exactly what they've been tightening their rules to stop.
The result is a campaign that quietly underperforms. Lower open rates, more of it filtered, and no error message telling you why. Most businesses assume the list is stale or the subject line was weak.
It gets worse as you add tools. A business we take over often has five or six systems sending as them — the marketing platform, the CRM, the accounting software, the scheduling tool, the copier that emails scans — and maybe two of them were ever authorized.
If you're paying for an email marketing platform and your authentication is wrong, you're paying to send mail that's more likely to be filtered.

Is this really free?
Yes. No cost, no form before the result, no credit card, nothing to cancel. Type your domain and you get the answer. We do this because most businesses find something worth fixing, and some of them ask us to fix it.
Do I have to give you my email address?
Not to see your result. The scan runs and shows you the answer on screen. If you want the full report emailed to you, you can ask for that — but it's optional and it comes after, not before.
Is it safe to scan my domain?
Completely. The scan reads publicly published DNS records — the same information any mail server in the world checks every time it receives an email from you. Nothing is accessed, nothing is changed, and nothing private is involved.
What if I don't understand the result?
That's normal, and it's why the next page explains it in plain English. If you'd rather have somebody walk you through it, a 15-minute call costs you nothing and we'll tell you honestly whether anything needs doing.
What are SPF, DKIM, and DMARC?
Three DNS records that together prove an email genuinely came from you. SPF lists the servers allowed to send mail using your domain. DKIM is a digital signature proving the message wasn't altered. DMARC tells receiving mail servers what to do when a message fails those checks. You don't need to understand the mechanics — you need all three configured, aligned, and set to actually block something.
We already have a DMARC record. Are we protected?
Maybe not. The most common setup we find is a policy set to monitor only, which reports on people impersonating you and blocks none of them. It satisfies a checklist and stops nothing. The scan shows you which one you have.
We use Mailchimp / Constant Contact / a CRM. Does that matter?
It matters a lot, and it's the most common problem we find. Those platforms send email using your company name, so your records have to specifically authorize them. If they don't, your campaigns are treated as coming from an unauthorized sender and more of them get filtered. Every platform you add needs to be accounted for — marketing tool, CRM, accounting software, scheduling system, even the copier that emails scans. The scan shows you what's currently authorized.
Will this tell me why my emails go to spam?
It'll tell you whether authentication is part of the problem, which it very often is. Other things matter too — list quality, content, sending reputation — but authentication is the piece that's entirely within your control and the one most businesses have wrong.
We have an IT company. Should I still scan?
Yes. It takes eight seconds and it's a second opinion on one specific thing. If it comes back clean, your provider has it handled and you've confirmed it. If it doesn't, send them the result — we're not asking you to switch anything.
Are you going to call me constantly after this?
