Your Staff Are Already Using AI. You Just Don't Know Which One.
Not in six months. Not once you've made a decision about it. Right now, this week, somebody in your office pasted something into a free AI tool to save themselves twenty minutes.
They weren't being careless. They were trying to get their work done.
So here's our offer: 30 days on a secure business AI platform, free. One short call, an invite email, and your team is set up in minutes.

The Two Things Owners Tell Me About AI
I'm Noah Yaghoubian. When AI comes up with business owners in this valley, I hear one of two things almost every time.
The first is "I have no idea where to start." They know they're supposed to be doing something with it. They've read the articles. They've watched competitors talk about it on LinkedIn. But nobody has shown them a single concrete thing it would do for their actual business, so it stays on the someday list.
The second is "I think my people are already using it and I'm not sure that's safe." Usually said quietly, because they're not certain they want the answer.
Those aren't two problems. They're the same problem. Your staff are using AI because they need it and nobody gave them an approved way to do it. Give them a good one and both problems close at once.
What "Shadow AI" Means for Your Business
Shadow AI is the industry term for employees using AI tools nobody approved. It isn't rare and it isn't a fringe concern.
A 2026 BlackFog study found 49% of workers are using AI in ways their employer hasn't approved. Of those, 58% were on free versions with no enterprise data governance. Six in ten said they'd take the risk with an unapproved tool to hit a deadline, and 63% said it's fine to use AI without IT oversight when the company hasn't provided an approved option.
Meanwhile a report published in May 2026 found 78% of executives believe they have a clear picture of AI use inside their company. When employees were surveyed, the real figure was closer to 23%.
That gap is the problem. It isn't that owners are ignoring this. It's that they think they already know.
Why the Free Version Is the Risky Part
| 1 | WHAT GOES IN MAY NOT STAY YOURS | Free consumer AI tools typically reserve the right to use what you type to improve their models. A Cisco study found 27% of employees have pasted sensitive company data into public AI tools. Once a customer list, a contract, or a pricing sheet goes in, you can't take it back out. |
| 2 | IT'S HAPPENING IN PERSONAL ACCOUNTS | Signed up with a personal email, on a personal login, outside anything you control. You can't see it, can't audit it, and when that employee leaves, whatever they put in there goes with them. |
| 3 | IT LANDS ON YOUR COMPLIANCE OBLIGATIONS | If you handle patient records, client financials, or legal matters, that data has rules attached to it. Those rules don't stop applying because an employee found a faster way to write a summary. |
| 4 | BANNING IT DOESN'T WORK | The research is consistent. Employees use these tools because they help, and blocking them just pushes usage further out of sight. What reduces unapproved AI use is giving people an approved tool that's genuinely good. |
How the Free 30 Days Works
Three steps. No software to install, no project, no IT lift on your end.
| 1 | A 15-MINUTE CALL | We ask a few questions about how your team works and where the time goes, then send you a short AI Readiness Report showing where it would save the most hours in your business. No presentation, no slide deck. If it's not a fit, we'll say so and that's the end of it. |
| 2 | WE SEND THE INVITE | Your workspace gets created on our end and an invite email lands in your inbox. You click it, follow the prompts, and you're in. Most people are set up and asking their first question in under ten minutes — no technician needed, no appointment to schedule, nothing installed on any computer. |
| 3 | YOU USE IT FOR 30 DAYS | Free. Real platform, real work, your actual business. Add whoever on your team you want. We're here if you have questions, but you don't need us standing over your shoulder — it's built to be used, not administered. |
No credit card. No contract. Nothing to cancel if you decide it isn't for you.

What Happens at Day 30
Three options, and one of them costs you nothing.
| 1 | WALK AWAY | It wasn't for you, or the timing is wrong. No invoice, no cancellation call, no hard feelings. You'll have found out for certain instead of wondering, and you'll still have a clearer picture of what your staff are doing with AI. |
| 2 | JUST KEEP USING IT | Your team likes it and it's already working. The monthly fee starts and nothing else changes — same workspace, same logins, same everything. This is what most businesses do, and it's a perfectly good answer. |
| 3 | GO FURTHER WITH A FULL ROLLOUT | You've seen the potential and now you want it built around your business. That's where we come in properly: custom agents trained on your pricing, policies, and documents, workflows for the repetitive jobs, integration with the systems you already run, and hands-on training for your whole team. Quoted separately, and only if you want it. |
What People Actually Use It For
Not "AI will transform your industry." Actual things businesses your size do with it:
- Proposals and quotes — Feed it your past winning proposals and your scope notes, get a draft back in your own format and voice. You edit instead of starting at a blank page.
- The email you keep rewriting — The price increase letter. The collections follow-up. The one where you have to say no. Drafted in seconds, in the tone you'd actually use.
- Contracts and fine print — Upload a 40-page vendor agreement and ask in plain English how you get out of it, what the notice period is, and whether it auto-renews. It quotes the section back to you.
- Research that used to take an afternoon — Competitor pricing, a regulation you just found out applies to you, a comparison table built while you get coffee.
- Meeting notes into action items — Feed in the transcript, get back who agreed to what and by when, in a format you can send out the same afternoon.
- Customer service replies — Trained on your own products and past answers, so a new hire responds like somebody who's been there three years.
- Policies and SOPs — The documentation everybody knows they should have written and nobody has time for.
You Also Get an AI Readiness Report
Before you spend a minute of your team's time on this, we put together a short report showing where AI would actually help your business — not a generic list of AI use cases.
It covers three things:
Where your time is going. The tasks in your business that are repetitive, text-heavy, or slow. Quoting. Email. Document review. Research. Reporting. Customer replies. The things that eat an afternoon and don't require judgment.
What each one is worth in hours. If your office manager spends five hours a week writing and rewriting the same kinds of emails and documents, and AI takes that to two, that's twelve hours a month back. We do that math against your actual roles and headcount so you can see the number rather than take our word for it.
Where to start. Three to five specific things, ranked by how quickly they'd pay off. Not everything at once — the wins that are easiest to get in the first two weeks, so your team sees the point before the novelty wears off.
You get the report whether or not you go ahead with the trial. It's a better use of fifteen minutes than most meetings you'll take this month.
What It Costs After the Trial
Published, because you shouldn't have to sit through a meeting to find out.
| 1 | STARTER — $300/MONTH | Best for roughly 5 to 10 users. The full platform: web search, file and document analysis, workflow building, image generation, and AI credits that never expire. |
| 2 | GROWTH — $500/MONTH | Best for 25 to 30+ users. Everything in Starter plus a higher credit allocation, 10 custom AI agents built for your business, cloud and CRM integrations, and workflow automation setup. |
| 3 | PREMIUM — $1,000/MONTH | Best for 50+ users. Everything in Growth plus the highest credit allocation, priority onboarding, full integration ecosystem, advanced workflows, dedicated support, and quarterly reviews. |
| 4 | ONE-TIME ACTIVATION FEE | Charged only if you continue past the trial — never up front. It covers the rollout, training, and configuration work. Waived entirely if you're on one of our managed IT plans. |
Custom agents and workflows beyond what your tier includes are quoted separately and only built after you've approved the number.
Why Us
| 1 | YOU'RE TRYING IT, NOT EVALUATING IT | Nobody buys software from a demo. You get the real platform on your real work for a month, and then you decide with actual information instead of a sales impression. |
| 2 | WE'RE AN IT AND SECURITY COMPANY FIRST | Which means we care where your data goes, who can see it, and whether it lands you in a compliance problem. An AI consultant who doesn't manage networks isn't asking those questions. |
| 3 | WE DEPLOY AND SUPPORT IT, NOT JUST RECOMMEND IT | Plenty of people will hand you an AI strategy document. We set it up, connect it to your business when you're ready, and support it afterward with the same 5-minute response as everything else we do. |
| 4 | LOCAL SINCE 2010 | 4.9 stars from 100+ Coachella Valley businesses. We're 20 minutes away, and you can get a person on the phone in five. |
Free Guide: What AI Can Actually Do for Your Business
Plain English, no hype. Five things AI does well today, with real prompts you can copy and try in the next ten minutes — emails, quotes, bids, contracts, research, and building your own tools. Useful whether or not you ever talk to us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 30-day trial actually free?
Yes. No credit card, no contract, no setup fee up front, and nothing to cancel. If you decide at day 30 that it isn't for you, you walk away and there's no invoice. We'll follow up during the month because we'd like to earn your business — if the answer is no, tell us and we'll stop.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. After our 15-minute call we create your workspace and send an invite email. You click the link, follow the prompts, and you're in. Nothing gets installed on any computer, no technician has to visit, and there's no appointment to schedule. You can add the rest of your team the same way.
Do we need IT knowledge to use it?
No. If you can write an email, you can use this. You type a request in plain language the way you'd explain a task to a new employee. Our free guide has real prompts you can copy and paste to get going, and there's a library of ready-made tools inside the platform.
What happens after the 30 days?
Three options. Walk away with no invoice. Keep using it and the monthly fee starts, with nothing else changing. Or if you want it built around your business — custom agents, workflows, integrations, team training — we schedule a full rollout and quote it separately.
Is there a setup or activation fee?
Not to try it. If you continue past the trial there's a one-time activation fee covering rollout, training, and configuration — and it's waived if you're on one of our managed IT plans. You'll know the number before the trial starts; we're not going to surprise you with it at day 30.
How is this different from just using ChatGPT?
Three things that matter for a business. Your data isn't used to train anybody's model. You get administrative visibility, so you can see what's being used and by whom. And the platform is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, meaning its security controls have been independently audited — something no free consumer tool offers.
We're in healthcare / legal / financial services. Can we use AI at all?
In most cases yes, but the tool matters enormously. Pasting patient information or client financials into a free consumer AI tool is a genuine compliance problem. Using a platform where your data stays yours and access is logged is a different conversation entirely. Raise it on the call and we'll tell you honestly where the lines are for your situation.
What's in the AI Readiness Report?
Three things: where the repetitive, text-heavy work sits in your business, roughly what those tasks are costing you in hours per month, and the three to five places we'd start based on fastest payback. It's built around your actual roles and headcount rather than a generic industry list, and you keep it whether or not you go ahead with the trial.
Can you help us control which AI tools staff use?
Yes, and it's a separate piece of work from the trial. On company computers we can block AI sites entirely, allow only the one tool you're comfortable with, or allow them with guardrails so staff can ask questions but can't upload or download files. Most businesses land on the guardrails option once they've got an approved tool in place.
Should we just block AI tools instead?
You can, and on its own it won't work. Employees will use their phones and home computers, and you'll have less visibility than before. The research consistently shows unauthorized AI use drops when an approved alternative is provided. Blocking without providing an option is the worst of both outcomes.
Do we have to be an IT client of yours?
No. Plenty of businesses come to us for this specifically. If you already have an IT provider and you're happy with them, keep them — we'll handle the AI side. Being a managed client does mean the activation fee is waived, but it isn't a requirement.
What areas do you serve?
Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, Indio, Coachella, Thousand Palms, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, and the surrounding Coachella Valley. Our office is at 73280 Hwy 111 Ste 102, Palm Desert.
How do we start?
Book a 15-minute call at lazeritconsultants.com/discoverycall, or call 760-992-5562 and ask for Noah. If it's a fit, the invite goes out the same day and your team can be using it that afternoon.
Fifteen Minutes, Then You're Using It
Most business technology decisions involve a demo, a proposal, a follow-up meeting, and a contract before you ever touch the thing. This isn't that.
One short call so we know it's a fit. An invite email you can set up yourself in minutes. Then 30 days of real use on your real work, free, with no card on file and nothing to cancel.
At day 30 you'll know — not from a sales pitch, from a month of actually using it. And your staff will have had somewhere safe to do what they're already doing anyway.
